Home > Guidelines/Reports
In the pain management field there are numerous guidelines and reports addressing clinical best practices and other issues of concern. Generally, these come from government agencies, medical associations or societies, academic institutions, and research organizations. The best of them are thoroughly researched, evidence based, and peer reviewed.
Pain Treatment Topics has assessed currently available guidelines and reports relating to pain management and included them in the listings below for the convenience of site visitors. Either the actual documents for download or links to them are provided. They are not offered as medical advice or treatment recommendations from Pain Treatment Topics, and professional discretion is advised in their acceptance or application.
Some items are from external sources that are not in accord with the Pain Treatment Topics Open Access Policy and require purchase from the publisher to view the full documents. In many cases, abstracts or summaries may be viewed at no charge.
If you know of a guideline or report in the pain management field that should be included here, please contact the editor at: Stew.Leavitt@Pain-Topics.org.
